PlaySolar provides distributed renewable energy solutions by integrating solar and Internet of Things (IoT) in a seamless platform using an intuitive interface. The company has developed a suite of sophisticated products while focusing on the solar rooftop, rural mini-grids and irrigation pumps segment in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. PlaySolar's integrated electronic, cloud based solar products for air conditioners, inverters, pumps, homes, mini or micro grids and rooftops; allows transparency in performance, data analytics based preventive maintenance, higher energy yield and the servicing of larger capacity loads.
Impact
As on December 2016, Play Solar has completed over 20 installations, including rooftop solar plants, mini grids and IoT based solar water pumps totaling over 230 kW .
Growth Plan
For the next three years, Play Solar is focusing on solar irrigation pumps, individual homes and mini grid implementations. Technology play is through proprietary design, remote monitoring and control solution, energy supply and demand management.
