SP RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES PRIVATE LIMITED (SPRE)
SPRE designs and provides turnkey energy efficient biogas solutions that produce energy from solid organic waste, agricultural and industrial waste water and biomass. The biogas solutions developed in collaboration with German and Dutch biogas companies comes with a data logging and remote monitoring system. The containers are made of pre-fabricated fiber glass, does not require any civil work and may be one of the lowest cost solutions available. SPRE provides solutions in the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Orissa and Punjab.
Achieved
As on date, the company has installed 500 systems, impacting approximately 3,750 people and has also trained and employed 25 women in production.
Growth Plan
SPRE plans to install over 228,000 ‘flexi biogas’ plants in the next 5 years targeting small dairy farmers, milk producers, highway restaurants and school canteens. Distribution will be through women self-help groups acting as independent agents.
